The Henry Sale Foundation supported Thomley by donating £7,000 to set up their new youth club sessions. This youth club helps provide specific skills-based activities to prepare Thomley teenagers for adult life. The Thomley Youth Club is now going strong and are proud of the amazing increase in attendees over the past year. In 2017 when first set up there was a loyal group of 7 and it ended the year having 16 young people signed up.

The youth club members have had an exciting 2017, some of the highlights have been; A murder mystery night, an annual snail racing event and participating in some community fundraising on a lemonade stand at this year’s Thomley Christmas market. In 2018 the young people have chosen some awesome adventures to be involved in such as pizza cooking, graffiti art, easter egg hunting, sumo suit wrestling, and a wet and wild water play evening to name but a few.

Overall as a charity, Thomley has seen a total increase of visitor numbers by 39% for 2017, this equates to over 9,000 vistas by disabled people plus an additional 13,500 visits by family members, friends, carers and member of the wider community.

In 2018, The Henry Sale Foundation continued to support Thomley by helping fund their new Sunday opening service.
