New Charity: HighGround

The Henry Sale Foundation contributed funds towards HighGround’s Rural Week programme to give ex-servicemen access to experience, volunteering and training in the land-based sector.

Rural Weeks give ex-military people the opportunity to be with others in the same position in a safe, supportive, relaxed environment where they can rediscover their military skills and experience and work out how they can use them for their next chapter – a fact that is often overlooked by organisations who seek to help veterans to ‘move on’ following the end of their military careers.
