Charity: Jamie's Farm

Jamie’s Farm acts as a catalyst for change, enabling disadvantaged young people to thrive academically, socially and emotionally through a unique residential experience and rigorous follow-up programme.

The Henry Sale Foundation has supported Jamie’s Farm with the Activity Costs on their newest farm in Lewes, East Sussex.

We wanted to help bridge the funding gap of setting up a new farm and give more children the opportunity to experience Jamie’s Farm. Many of the activities still need equipment and our funding will go towards purchasing gardening equipment, e.g. seeds, plants, trowels, tools and compost; woodwork equipment e.g. axes, tools, materials and wood; art materials e.g. paint, brushes, paper; kitchen equipment; horse feed and equipment for our therapeutic horse work; chicken and other animal feed (such as rabbits and goats); and visit equipment e.g. warm clothes, wellies, overalls, and board games (many children come without appropriate items of clothing).
